About CTCC
Culture to Country Consulting is an 100% Aboriginal-led organisation built on deep relationships with Country, community, and knowledge.
Who We Are
Culture to Country Consulting (CTCC) was founded on the principle that Aboriginal knowledge, relationships, and Country must be at the centre of any meaningful engagement — not at the margins.
We are based in Marrakai, in the Northern Territory, on the lands of the Limilngan-Wulna people — Country that has shaped our practice, our values, and our deep commitment to ethical, place-based work.
Our work spans Indigenous engagement, Country-centred research, cultural capability, and strategic advisory — always grounded in relationships, always led by culture.
“Country is not a backdrop to the work — it is the foundation from which the work begins.”
What Guides Us
Every project begins with Country. We centre place, ecology, and deep cultural connection in all our work — not as backdrop, but as foundation.
We work alongside communities, not for them. Genuine partnership means shared decision-making, transparent processes, and mutual respect.
Aboriginal knowledge systems are sophisticated, living, and sovereign. We protect their integrity and ensure they are engaged with on their own terms.
Relationships are the foundation of everything we do. We invest in long-term connections with communities, organisations, and Country.
How We Work
Every engagement begins with deep listening — to community, to Country, and to the specific context of each project.
We work collaboratively to design approaches that are culturally grounded, community-led, and fit for purpose.
We deliver work that honours the relationships and knowledge that inform it — with transparency, rigour, and care.
We build in reflection and evaluation so that outcomes are meaningful, lasting, and genuinely beneficial to communities.
Country & Place
CTCC is based in Marrakai, Northern Territory, on Limilngan-Wulna Country. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and recognise the enduring spiritual, cultural, and ecological connection of Australia's First Peoples to Country across Australia.
We welcome conversations with communities, government, researchers, and environmental organisations. Every partnership begins with listening.
